As part of the education program, the Center is putting together a panel on the Christian church's role in antisemitism during the Holocaust, modern antisemitism, relations between the Jewish and Christian communities, and how the two can work together to combat antisemitism. 1st Annual Film Festival

As part of the education program, the Center is hosting a film festival on April 15, 2018 from 10:30-5:30. The festival will highlight women's resilience and resistance during and after genocide. Come see these uplifting films!


2018 International Studies Association Conference

As part of the research program, the Center is presenting a paper entitled 'Forced marriage and marital rape: An examination of sexual violence and genocide in the Khmer Rouge and ISIS.' The paper will be presented in April at the 2018 International Studies Association Conference in San Francisco. Such research enables us to look at the causal factors of various types of violence during genocide.


2017 International Studies Association Conference

As part of the research program, the Center presented a paper entitled 'Rape, genocide, and forced marriage in Cambodia: Marital vows and sexual assault under the Khmer Rouge. It was presented at the 2017 International Studies Association Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. The paper focused on the phenomenon of forced marriage under the Khmer Rouge and in international law.
